This colourful poster was first published by London Transport in 1984 and was designed by artist Glynn Boyd Harte. It encourages people to visit friends or family with a bouquet of flowers and "Visit by bus" with the text: "Surprise someone who's longing to see you. It's so simple by bus."
Emerging as an artist in 'post-pop' London, Glynn Boyd Harte reacted against predominant trends towards abstraction and brutality. His beautifully composed still-lifes and outdoor scenes depict the everyday, bathed in uplifting light. From the mid-1970s, Boyd Harte exhibited widely in London. He illustrated a number of books and from the 1990s contributed to The Daily Telegraph and The Times.
Boyd Harte was artist-in-residence during the rebuilding of the Royal Opera House and exhibited a series of architectural studies at the Museum of London to mark the Millennium.

The below delivery information is for our general stocked products.

To make a return, please follow our instructions below:

1. Send an email to [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your goods to notify us of the return.
2. Return the item(s) to the address below within 28 days of receiving the item/s. Please make sure to include your order number. Clothing items which are being returned due to incorrect sizing can be returned opened as long they are unworn, and the tags are attached.
3. The return shipment cost must be paid by you and will not be covered by the London Transport Museum, unless the item is faulty. We would recommend that you use recorded delivery.
4. Once the returned item/s has been received and processed by our warehouse, we will issue you a refund within 14 working days.
