Product details

Moquette is the carpet-like fabric covering the seats on London’s Tubes, buses, trams and Overground trains – and here is a brilliantly colourful guide to all its patterns. Since this colourful and idiosyncratic little book was first published in 2019 it has become a must-have style accessory. In the meantime, TfL has continued to design beautiful new patterns for its new rolling stock – and even to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Victoria Coach Station. Their appeal is not just London-wide but worldwide: no other city is adorned in such a vibrant way.
This new, revised and expanded edition has 16 more pages, new moquettes and features, as well as all the historic designs from the London Transport Museum’s archive.
Andrew Martin is author of the Sunday Times bestseller To the Sea by Train, as well as the Jim Stringer railway crime novels. His detective thriller The Moquette Mystery is also published by Safe Haven.
