Product details
Little bus and transport enthusiasts will love this LTM exclusive diecast Routemaster toy set! This realistic model set features both the old and new Routemaster buses.
The buses also feature a pull back and go action so they can move on their own for more realistic play!
The new Routemaster bus was designed by the Heatherwick Studios and produced by Wrightbus in Northern Ireland. Inspired by the original AEC Routemaster bus it features three doors and two staircases. It first entered service in 2012. Now, there are 1000 of these buses serving London Bus Routes.
The iconic Routemaster bus was built for comfort and efficiency. Every detail inside and out was beautifully designed. It had a lightweight aluminium body and interchangeable parts for easy maintenance. Power-assisted steering and an automatic gearbox meant it was easy to drive.
Originally planned for 15 years' service, they lasted for nearly 50 years - from 1958 to 2005.
Not suitable for children under 36 months.
