Logo For London D/R/E193 Poster

This poster was produced to celebrate a London Transport Museum exhibition on the roundel 'A Logo for London' that ran from September 2000 to April 2001.

The roundel, the symbol of London’s public transport and a powerful icon of the city, is almost 100 years old.

From its humble beginnings as a platform name board in 1908, the roundel has become a famous company trademark, providing a unified corporate identity for all London’s transport services - from trains and buses, stations and bus stops - to staff uniforms and publicity.

Over the years there have been many attempts to redesign it – or even get rid of it completely.

However, the roundel has survived into the 21st century to become one of the most recognised and imitated logos in the world.

To make a return, please follow our instructions below:

1. Send an email to [email protected] within 14 days of receiving your goods to notify us of the return.
2. Return the item(s) to the address below within 28 days of receiving the item/s. Please make sure to include your order number. Clothing items which are being returned due to incorrect sizing can be returned opened as long they are unworn, and the tags are attached.
3. The return shipment cost must be paid by you and will not be covered by the London Transport Museum, unless the item is faulty. We would recommend that you use recorded delivery.
4. Once the returned item/s has been received and processed by our warehouse, we will issue you a refund within 14 working days.
