It was published in 1934 by London Transport and is promoting travel to the cinemas by London Transport.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCecil Walter Bacon designed posters for London Transport between 1932 and 1935.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCecil Bacon was born in 1905 in Battle, Sussex, and studied at Hastings School of Art under Philip Cole from 1923 to 1925 before joining a commercial advertising agency in London in 1926. In 1929 he began working freelance, some of his earliest work being for London Transport. From 1935 he began a long association with the 'Radio Times' designing some highly regarded covers. During World War Two he designed memorable posters for the Ministry of Information.
