When Transport for London began to seriously promote its planned Northern line Extension from Kennington to Battersea to serve the huge new development on the site of Battersea Power Station, Trent van der Werf designed this image for use on various promotional literature, and the opportunity was taken to adapt the design for a 'filler' poster on London Underground in 2014.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe design features Battersea Power Station, City Hall, Royal Festival Hall and The Shard as well as an outsize Underground symbol signifying its importance to London's commercial and cultural life.
