It was the 69th Boat Race held on the River Thames which took place on the 30th March, with a re-row on 1st April due to Cambridge sinking and Oxford being waterlogged. Reigning champions Oxford succeeded in winning the re-row by six lengths.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCharles Sharland designed posters for the Underground Group between 1908 and 1922.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eCharles Sharland was a prolific studio artist at printers Waterlow and Sons.
